Leave it alone and it will leave you alone. There are far more dangerous things in the Indonesian jungles and surrounding areas I would think- Cobras, Pythons, Spiders, Scorpions, Tigers, Komodo Dragons

We stayed at a cabin last summer and a cicada killer got inside. My response was “guys, we have to burn this place down and leave.”
(Hard to gauge scale in this pic but it was the largest bee I'd ever seen)

Eh, it’s a bee, no need to be too worried about it (unless it’s trapped in the car with you). Be more worried about giant wasps/hornets.
Also it’s rare enough that it had been assumed to be extinct, so you really aren’t likely to meet one.

I saw this yesterday and went down a small rabbit hole of lost species at https://www.lostspecies.org
That huge bee also doesn’t have a stinger, just massive pincers at the front for bringing resin back for its nest. I would still be terrified of it.

It’s an enormous bee called the cicada killer. This was in West Virginia.
